Introduction to the Network and Communications Section

The Network and Communications Section, under the Office of Library and Information Services at Chung Shan Medical University, is responsible for planning, establishing, and maintaining the university’s network and communication systems.

Its core functions include:

• Managing campus wired and wireless network services, servers, and network equipment
• Ensuring information security
• Administering domain names and IP resources
• Overseeing external network connections

The Section also supports the networking needs of teaching, research, and administrative units, ensuring a stable and secure information environment across campus.

Guided by the principles of stability, security, innovation, and service, the Network and Communications Section is dedicated to providing faculty and students with a convenient and efficient digital learning and research environment, while continuously advancing smart campus development and information security initiatives.
